Introduction

You are Agent Zulu, a new member of a top-secret organisation known as the Falling Angels. This organisation was created by the government for advanced and often dangerous missions against any threat to the security of the state of San Andreas, and the whole of the U.S. itself. Headed by Toreno, a seasoned veteran in undercover work and other fields that remain highly classified, the Falling Angels are often tasked with assignments on U.S. soil that are highly dangerous and top secret.
Like Toreno, members of this organisation must be to some degree detached from their emotions, and must not think twice about their objectives or the consequences. Failure to complete an assignment, with no exceptions, causes those responsible to be removed from the organisation and silenced forever.

The Team:

As a new recruit to the Falling Angels, you shall meet more members as time progresses under a need-to-know basis.

Toreno: A professional in this field of special services. Toreno is in charge of this organisation. What he says must go regardless of anything. During operations, he goes under the callsign "Control"

"Indigo": A field agent just like yourself, only Indigo is specialised towards undercover work. This man is a ghost, barely appearing on the surface long enough to provide intel before disappearing again.

The Divisions within the Falling Angels:

The Falling Angels Armed Response Squad (F.A.A.R.S.): The exact number of members in the squad is unknown, and top secret. This squad contains a vast selection of men ranging from violent convicts who 'escaped' from prison, to 'MIA' soldiers. This squad is all about brute force, and usually provide backup during firefights.

Falling Angels Task Force (FATF): This is where you and the mysterious "Indigo" fall into. You are the operatives who do the dirty work no other police or military force has clearnace to do, and work that F.A.A.R.S. are too trigger-happy to do. This division sees the most danger, but the its efforts are the most critical to protecting innocent lives. Operatives do anything and everything at a moment's notice; assassinations, rescues, sabotage, spying, and the list goes on.

Your First Mission:

This mission is highly classified, and pretty dangerous. Full breifing and the mission are found in the DYOM1.dat file. To run the mission simply place the DYOM file into your San Andreas User Files and play a new game with DYOM and CLEO3 installed.

An arms ring has recently sent a cargoship out to San Fierro from Russia. On board are tons of explosives, guns, and munitions. According to intel from Indigo, this shipment of arms is going to be sold off to a new group operating in San Andreas. After much debate, it has been decided that this mission requires a low profile approach right up to demolitions, something FAARS is not specialised for. A solo operative from F.A.T.F. should be able to complete the operation alone and only need F.A.A.R.S. to provide the helicopter exfil once the operative requires extraction.

You, Agent Zulu, being the new guy, need to prove yourself worthy of respect in the Falling Angels. And so, you are being given this mission as your trial by fire. Do not disappoint Toreno, do not fail the mission, and do not get killed.

Later Missions:

Later assignments are found in numerical order following 'DYOM'. You can play through all the missions in order, or skip certain chapters at your discretion. Parts of the story shall be separated into several 'Acts', each act shall contain up to 8 DYOM missions, but may contain less.

Final Note:

Hopefully your time as Agent Zulu will be adventurous, remember to stay sharp, and be prepared to fight under pressure. The safety of the United States public, and the rest of the world, depends on you. The best of luck to you!

Tips:

-To decrease the likelihood of missing cutscenes or having glitches, remember to set gta_sa.exe to only one CPU by going to task manager, right-clicking the process, and clicking set affinity.

-In stealth segments of missions, enemies are near impossible to kill without a stealth knife attack, if you alert one guard, try to knock him down and either stab him or stamp on him repeatedly until he dies. If you alert more than one... you're dead.

-You can stealth attack a moving guard, just creep up behind them and press the attack button while aiming and creeping closely behind your target.

-The best way to take heavily armed enemies out in close quarters is to either crouch behind an object and pick shots out from behind cover, or stand behind a corner and peek just enough out to get a clear shot without being shot.

-Almost any soldier or friendly unit under your command is YOUR RESPONSIBLITY, their death shall mean yours.

-When escaping by a vehicle, your passenger (provided he is armed) will fire at your pursuers, but don't let that slow you down.

-Parachuting is an integral part of being a Falling Angel, to ensure your parachute has the best chance of functioning, do not touch the controls until you spawn in mid-air, then jiggle the movement controls, this reduces the likelihood of bugs. I cannot eradicate parachute failures, this is mainly a DYOM problem with spawning. If you cannot get the parachute to work, simply replace the affected DYOM with its (alt) version and remove the "(alt)" tag in the name. The alternative version has parachuting taken out.

-Sniper rifles offer the highest range in GTA SA, use it to your advantage, but dont forget to compensate for moving targets!

-If a missile locks onto you, try to out manouevre it or out-run it. It is almost always possible to evade a missile strike.

-Pay attention to what is being said during missions and cutscenes! Valuable information to do with the story and mission itself will often be shown in the subtitles!
